New business opportunities identified for IMS team at Canadian event

by isleofman.com 16th May 2014

The Integrated Mailing Solutions (IMS) team recently returned to the Island from a very successful ‘Networking DM’ direct mail industry event, held in Whistler BC, Canada, of which it was a sponsor.

The grass root direct mail networking style event, created by and provided for mailers, was staged over four days at the beginning of May. This year it brought together marketers and suppliers from across the globe to meet one another and uncover new potential partnerships and to strengthen and consolidate existing relationships.

In addition to the business meetings the team had arranged, it also took full advantage of the speed networking opportunities held throughout the day along with evening social events, which provided further networking opportunities.

Niall Carey, Commercial Manager of Isle of Man Post Office said: “Our days were filled with back to back meetings. The event offered fantastic networking opportunities and we have developed some good leads from the meetings we held, so we are now in the process of following these up. Upon meeting with the other delegates we not only informed them about our products and services but also promoted the Isle of Man as a place to do business. I’d like to thank the organisers for arranging this extremely useful event.
