by isleofman.com 14th May 2014

A huge aviation event being held in Switzerland next week will see a number of Island companies showcasing their offerings – as well as the benefits of doing business in the Isle of Man.

The European Business Aviation Convention, EBACE, starts at Palexpo and Geneva International Airport from Tuesday next week.

The three-day event attracts around 500 exhibitors.

From the Isle of Man, John-Michael McCann will represent local fiduciary services specialist Abacus Aviation, while law firm Appleby will send a team headed by aviation director Brian Johnson.

Meanwhile, aviation services provider Equiom will be showing off its recently launched customs warehouse facility which allows owners, brokers or operators to bring aircraft into the EU and suspend VAT and customs duty payments.
