Isle of Man Maritime Group at IFB 2014

by isleofman.com 13th May 2014
A group of maritime businesses from the Island will use this year's Liverpool International Festival for Business 2014 (IFB) to reach a potentially global client base.
The Isle of Man Maritime Group, which includes Bibby Ship Management, will stage two days of events during the Maritime, Logistics and Energy-themed week in June.
The group was formed earlier this year by a number of maritime organisations with the aim of promoting the Isle of Man as a centre of excellence for the maritime sector.
The group’s events will take place on the Kathleen and May tall ship berthed at the Albert Dock on June 11 and 12 and it's hoped to attract groups and individuals from around the world who are interested in finding out more about the maritime and superyacht expertise on the Isle of Man.
The group’s members also include Baker Tilly, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, Boston Limited, Cayman National Bank and Trust Company (IoM), Dohle, ICM Group, i-Bos, Isle of Man Ship Registry, Isle of Man Shipping Association, the Isle of Man Yacht Forum, KPMG, Maersk and PDMS.
