Douglas B clinched the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy with a 19-10 victory over local rivals Vagabonds B.
Young stand-off Luke Hyland proved the difference between the sides with a first half try and three second half penalties to seal the win.
Douglas made a flying start when right wing Jack Fallon raced down the touchline for the opening try just three minutes in.
Jonny Beckley kicked a penalty for Vagas at the other end before Hyland’s 12th minute try gave Douglas a 10-3 half-time lead.
Hyland then kicked a penalty early in the second half to make the lead 13-3 before Ross McCulloch’s try, converted by Beckley, hauled Vagas back into the game.
‘Cool Hand’ Hyland then kicked two further penalties to build a lead from which Vagas never recovered.
