Douglas, Isle of Man – The Junior Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce their next event, a joint venture with the Association of Isle of Man Compliance Professionals (“AICP”) that will discuss Cyber Security and Business Continuity. The event taking place on 14 May, provides an opportunity for both learning and networking.

Compliance Manager and MLRO professional Dani Kelly will be focussing on data security and looking in-depth at cyber security and the risks you need to consider. This will look at the vulnerabilities of using various IT devices including mobile devices both in a personal and corporate arena. The discussion will touch on the key risks, how to spot them and how to mitigate them.

Solicitor Emma Christie will focus on business continuity and data requirements. This will look at the due considerations for all businesses and those who work for them in respect of business continuity. The presentation will also cover data requirements of internal, regulatory and/or criminal investigations.

“It was fantastic to work with the AICP committee - I think it’s incredibly important to build relationships with other associations and I’m pleased to be working alongside them. The subjects that both Dani and Emma will touch on during the evening are extremely topical so it’s ideal that they are presenting to us. I’d like to thank Moore Stephens for their continued support and for sponsoring this event and I look forward to welcoming both JCC and AICP members and non-members.”

When: Wednesday 14 May 2014.
Where: The Palace Hotel and Casino (5.30pm – 7.30pm).
