by isleofman.com 7th May 2014

All staff members at an Island marketing, design and public relations agency have undergone intensive first aid training.
Douglas-based Home Strategic embarked on the company-wide training as a further stage in gaining ISO standards.
The team of 25 now knows what to do in the case of cardiac arrest including how to use a defibrillator, and are a step closer to achieving the international standard for Health and Safety.
Director of Home Strategic Steve Wicks says the company recognises it has a responsibility to staff, customers and contractors to provide a safe working environment.
The training was led by Phil Bennet from St John Ambulance Isle of Man, who says he would like to see more companies adopt a pro active approach health and safety staff training.
