Lesley Sleight from Isle of Man Archery Club took part in a 2 day field shoot in Kendal over the Bank Holiday weekend. Her combined score of 369 over the 2 days equalled her British record. She also gained the highest points in both the women’s and men’s American Flatbow Class.
To be considered for the Great Britain Archery team for the World Archery European 2014 3D Championships archers have to complete three, one day British Record Status FITA 24 unmarked rounds and gain the required score levels. The required scores for the Longbow class are 145. Lesley has now 3 unmarked scores of 210, 201 and 185. She is hoping to be considered for selection for the GB team for the Championships taking place in Estonia in September. Lesley presently holds 3 British Field FITA Records unmarked, marked and combined for Ladies American Flatbow.
