by isleofman.com 3rd May 2014
Castletown’s relegation from the Canada Life Premier League was confirmed as they were beaten 4-0 at home by Ramsey.
A hat-trick from Kris Halsall and one from Jordan Kelly sealed maximum points for the northerners as the defeated FA Cup finalists returned to form.
As Town went down, Gymns sealed the JCK Division Two title to bounce back to the top flight at the first attempt.
Braces from Mark Connor, Gareth Gawne and Marek Mirvan and further goals from Mike Booth and Liam Bowley helped them to a 9-0 home win over lowly Ronaldsway.
Douglas Royal ran out 8-3 winners at Malew, whose goals were scored by Mark Notman (two) and Josh Egan.
