An expert on international finance centres will give her insight on the Island and world economy this evening.
Naomi Lawton, a consultant to the International Finance Centres Forum, will join Economic Development Minister John Shimmin as guest speaker at the Appleby Spring Seminar.
It’s being held at the Manx Museum and will look at the role of the Isle of Man in the global economy as well as discuss ideas for identifying and exploiting growth opportunities.
Ms Lawton qualified as a tax solicitor in London in 1995 and has worked for several high-profile companies.
She also writes for Thomas Reuters and Practical Tax Law on UK and international tax matters.
