Island musicians head to festival

A group of local musicians are making their way to Northern Ireland today for the annual Pan Celtic Music Festival.

Now in its 43rd year, the competition is being held in Derry for the first time this year, attracting over 5000 competitors and visitors.

Sixteen year old Michelle Jamieson is representing the Island in the International Song class, with an original song called ‘tayrn-mee-thie’ or ‘Bring Me Home’.
