by isleofman.com 23rd April 2014

Ramsey Police are appealing to the public for information to a Criminal Damage to a motor vehicle. Sometime between 6.30pm on Sunday 20th April and 10:00am on Monday 21st April 2014 a red Golf convertible was parked in underground parking at Queens Pier Apartments, Ramsey. During this time a person or persons have used a knife or similar bladed instrument to cut and slash the entire width of the car’s roof. It would appear that despite various items within the car nothing has been reported as stolen.

Other vehicles in the area were checked but as yet Police have received no further reports of damage to other vehicles.

The damage appears to be an isolated incident in a private car park. However Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or overheard anyone talking about the incident. The entire situation has caused the owner of the vehicle considerable upset. Are you able to help?

If anyone has any information please contact PC Mark Hempsall at Ramsey Police Station on 812234 or anonymously Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
