Police appeal for witnesses

A man was left with serious injuries after a fight involving several people on Douglas Promenade at the weekend.
It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning on the seaward walkway between the bottom of King Edward Road and the Palace hotel.
The injured man is believed to have gone to help a friend who was involved in the disturbance.
He was left with fractures and needed hospital treatment.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw what happened or know anything about it.
