Witnesses sought over fracas

Police are investigating a disturbance on Douglas promenade which saw a man hospitalised.


It's believed several men were involved in the incident at about 1am on Easter Sunday morning (April 20) on Central promenade between the bottom of King Edward Road and the Palace Hotel. Police say a Douglas man sustained serious injuries, including fractures, having apparently gone to the aid of a friend involved in the disturbance.


Witnesses are being urged to contact police on 631212.
