Laxey regeneration underway

by isleofman.com 22nd April 2014
The first of a number of regeneration schemes planned for Laxey starts today.

The coach park at the end of Mines Road is having a dedicated pedestrian area created in it, which will include seating and an information point.

Garff MHK Steve Rodan says the existing coach park does little to welcome visitors to the village.

During the work Mines Road will remain open to vehicles and pedrestrians, and all business in the area will be open as usual.
