Geocaching growing in popularity on Island

by isleofman.com 19th April 2014
Tired of trying to get the kids out of the house this Easter for a good walk?
In need of a bit more exercise but find just walking boring?
Well, the answer could be Geocaching - a real life treasure hunt to find hidden items and solve clues using a GPS device.
A introduction to the increasingly popular pastime will be given at 7pm on Friday, May 2 at the Salmon Lake Centre in Laxey.
The presentation by local geocachers Angie and Alan Brook is in association with The Ballannette Trust.
To celebrate, a number of new caches will be released that evening at Ballannette:Clip 1
