Freedom of Information a step closer on the Island

A Freedom of Information Act is a step closer to being introduced on the Island.
The bill has been out to consultation, and the comments are being considered before it goes before Tynwald.
The subject was brought up at an Economic Committee meeting yesterday (WED), where the Chief Minister gave evidence.
He says they extended the consultation period at the request of Douglas Corporation, but the deadline has passed
