Committee to assess landlord legislation

New legislation governing landlords and tenants’ rights is going to be assessed by Island politicians.

The House of Keys has unanimously backed a proposal to form a three-person committee.

It will examine the Department of Social Care’s proposed Landlord and Tenant Bill and related issues.

The MHK behind the move is West Douglas member Chris Thomas.
