New centre brings growth to floristry business

After the long, wet winter Island flower growers and arrangers are looking forward to getting busy with stems and scissors!
And they now have a fresh source of inspiration and supplies.
Robinson's has opened a new Floristry Centre at its Ballapaddag headquarters in Cooil Road, Braddan, bringing all parts of the firm's flower business under one roof.
The centre will serve both retail and wholesale markets and house the Post-a-Rose business and Signature bouquet brand. The glass-fronted unit will also be base for the company's artistic team allowing visitors to view their creative work, handling thousands of stems each week.
Head of Robinson's Floristry Division Mark Hotchkiss says the venture marks the start of a new era:
