Landlords bill latest

Proposed legislation to strengthen the rights of tenants has been referred to a committee by the House of Keys today.


Douglas member Chris Thomas requested the move after the landlords bill received its second reading in the House. Mr
Thomas, who said the issue needed deeper investigation before the creation of new legislation, won the unanimous support of
fellow MHKs.
