Eight acts - all planned and rehearsed in the children's own time - featured in the contest that was compered by David Cretney MHK.

Third place went to Gary Burns, dancing and singing to Michael Jackson’s Thriller; second place to Emily Bridson who sang Any Dream Will Do from the musical Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and first place was awarded to Izzy Scarffe and Jake Dunsmore who danced a jive to Candyman by Christina Aguilera (in home-made costumes by Jake’s mum).
