BADRA to ask for smaller communities to have a greater say

The Chairman of the Ballasalla and District Residents Association says they would like to see the Island allow small neighbourhoods like their village to have a greater say in local planning issues.
BADRA held its Annual General Meeting last night (Mon)
Mike Henthorne says they've asked their local MHK Graham Cregeen to have a look at relevent legislation in the UK which comes under what's called the localism act and bring it to the attention of other MHKs and civil servants.
