Bradda Head grass fire

Fire crews are damping down a grass fire that broken out on inaccessible land in the South of the Island.

The Island’s Fire and Rescue Service says the blaze on the West side of Bradda Head was reported at around 4pm today.

Crews from Port Erin as well as specialist vehicles from Douglas Fire Station took just over an hour to put out the fire

At the height of the blaze, the flames stretched over 200 square meters.
