Missing boat sparks search

by isleofman.com 14th April 2014
A missing boat sparked a sea search around the Island’s east coast yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

Douglas and Ramsey lifeboats launched at around 2pm after a small boat with two people aboard was reported as being overdue.

Both lifeboat crews carried out a search between Port Grenaugh and Laxey Bay.

However, authorities discovered the boat and its crew were both safe and well in Laxey Harbour and the search was called off shortly before 4pm.
