eGaming specialists ILS Fiduciaries will be representing the Isle of Man at the first ever worldwide forum aimed at the lottery messenger industry.
The Global Lottery Messenger Forum, which is aimed at an industry which sees firms act on behalf of clients who want to buy tickets in overseas lotteries through online subscription services, is set to be staged in Tel Aviv in Israel on 20th May. ILS will be making a special presentation to the delegates.
The free one-day event, organised by Counting House, will also be attended by representatives from the Isle of Man Department of Economic Development and Gambling Supervision Commission, along with the Island’s banking, hosting and CSP industries. The keynote welcoming speech will be given by Leonard Singer MHK and political representative for the eGaming sector.
Group Business Development Manager Richard MacNee said: “ILS is delighted to support Counting House and the Isle of Man Government at this event. The Island has already licensed two operators in this market and like Counting House we believe there is more potential business and are very much looking forward to attending this key event and representing the Isle of Man.”
The event will see speakers and delegates discuss the legal and regulatory issues surrounding lottery messenger services, the business case for jackpot insurance, alternative approaches such as betting on lotteries, banking and hosting facilities for lottery messenger, payment processing, the future of lottery messenger, the challenges facing the industry, regulation, offshore re-selling and the evolution of lottery messenger business models.
Delegates will also have the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the Isle of Man from their home country, with a further five opportunities to win a Manx cat ‘crown’ collectors’ pack.
