The advantages of the latest voice technology systems for business were the focus of an event hosted by Manx Telecom.

More than 35 business customers attended The Forum, Mount Havelock, Douglas, for presentations about Red Box Recorders, Mitel Networks, and Manx Telecom’s own Intelligent Voice solution.

Manx Telecom Product Supervisor Andy Petterson gave a presentation on Intelligent Voice explaining the advantages the VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) system offers when compared to a business using an in-house PBX exchange.

John Taggart, UK and Ireland Sales Manager for Red Box Recorders, explained the role Red Box technology can play in compliance, training and customer service.

Paul Brazier, Mitel Channel Account Manager, gave a presentation on the Mitel MiVoice Office system which has the flexibility to be adapted for businesses with two to 250 users.
