Lady Chauffeurs drive change in taxi industry

by isleofman.com 3rd April 2014
Down on the street there's a new name on the Island's taxi ranks.
The Lady Chauffeurs or TLC has been set up as a niche taxi service for passengers who'd prefer a female driver.
It's proving popular with women in need of a cab alone, late at night, and with parents organising taxis for their children.
But it's also targetting the executive market seeking "fragrant, elegant, immaculate vehicles".
TLC's drivers hold professional licences, are customer service-trained with additional coaching in chauffeur etiquette.
