Equiom shortlisted in prestigious international private wealth awards

by isleofman.com 1st April 2014

Equiom, the leading international trust and corporate services provider has been shortlisted in the prestigious Citywealth Magic Circle Awards. These prestigious international awards recognise the excellence of individuals and companies in the private wealth sector.

Equiom has been shortlisted in the category “Trust Company of the Year, Non Institutional” and its well known Group Managing Director, Sheila Dean, has been nominated for the “Woman of the Year” award.

The shortlist is the first stage of a rigorous voting process with nominations judged by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from across all private wealth sectors that have experience of working with advisors in all the jurisdictions covered. The judging panel changes every year to bring different insight to the awards judging process. The second stage of the voting process involves a popular voting that's online at www.citywealthmag.com giving the global private wealth industry an opportunity to cast their vote for the shortlisted entrants – in 2013 over 12500 votes were cast.

The winners will be announced at a dinner in London in May which is expected to attract over 400 guests representing over 140 organisations including the leading law firms, trust companies, family offices, tax advisors, investment managers and bankers in the wealth sector to recognise the achievements of the industry during the past year.
