One of the social events of the Isle of Man business calendar, the ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) annual dinner, will be held at the Palace Hotel on 11 April.
Karen Muldoon, chair of the Isle of Man members’ network said: “The annual dinner is one of the top business events to attend. Unlike many business events, the night is very informal, you won’t be sitting through hours of speeches. This is an event to socialise, network and enjoy yourselves.
“We all work extremely hard, putting in many hours in the office, so the dinner is an ideal opportunity to get out of the office and network with your fellow Manx professionals in a relaxed atmosphere.
”This year we will see the return of the ACCA Isle of Man top student award, which is sponsored by Moore Stephens.”
Around 100 business professionals attended the annual dinner in 2013. Tickets are ?45.00, with the Palace Hotel offering discounted rates for those who don’t want drive.
The evening will start with a drinks reception at 7pm, followed by a three-course meal and then a live band.
