by isleofman.com 7th March 2014

The Sefton Group is delighted to welcome back Robert Duncan, as he returns to the Island to take up the post of Group Hotels Manager.

From 2005 to 2010, Robert was General Manager at the Hilton Palace Hotel, before moving to the UK for what was intended to be an early retirement. However, while in the UK, Robert was tempted back to hotel management with a post at Best Western Cartland Bridge Hotel in Lanark. Now, after three years in that position, Robert has returned to the Island to oversee the Sefton Group’s three hotels.

Supporting Robert in his new role will be Sefton Hotel General Manager Paul Forrest, Best Western Palace Hotel General Manager Allen Jackson and Sefton Express Operations Manager David Hill.

Robert said: ‘I am delighted to return to the Isle of Man and to be working with the Sefton Group hotels’ team once more – there are some familiar faces, but also some great new additions to the Group. It is very exciting to be back, and I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that my new role will bring.’

Sefton Group Chief Executive Brett Martin said: ‘I’m really pleased to have Robert back in the team. His knowledge and experience in hotel management will be of great benefit in ensuring that our hotel and leisure business continues to prosper.’
