Tom Richards to present at next ICSA event

Thomas Miller Investment (IOM) Ltd are to sponsor the next Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators Isle of Man branch event. The seminar, on 5th March at the Claremont Hotel in Douglas and open to ICSA members and guests, will feature Tom Richards, Head of Private Investment Management (Offshore) at TMI, speaking on the topic of “Cash is king but loses the battle against inflation every day - risk management considerations when moving into other asset classes”.

Tom Richards is a Director and joined TMI in August 2012 as Head of Private Investment Management (Offshore).

Tom served as a graduate commissioned officer and pilot with the Royal Air Force until 2004. He has subsequently held roles with a number of UK on/offshore investment management firms including Quilter, Ramsey Crookall and Maitland Investment Services. Tom has extensive experience with the management of UK and international private client, trust structure, pension fund and investment company assets and professional advisor relationships.

Tom sits on the Investment Strategy and Private Investment Management Portfolio Review Committees and heads up the Collectives Research Team. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds an MSc (Distinction) in International Banking & Finance.
