Leading fiduciary and fund services specialists, the Abacus Financial Services Group, will be sponsors of the forthcoming STEP Malta Conference 2014 to be held in St Julians, Malta on 6-7 March.
The two day conference, which follows the success of the first conference held in 2011, is set to focus on ‘Global Business in a Challenging Environment’ and will host over 100 delegates from a variety of jurisdictions and from a broad range of professional backgrounds including lawyers, accountants, trust specialists and other practitioners in this area.
The programme will reflect the international nature of the financial services industry across a number of specialist topics including; Malta residence schemes; international aspects and challenges of Malta as a maritime jurisdiction; challenges for future regulations and the changing UK tax environment for High Net Worth Individuals (HMWIs). It will hear senior regulator’s views on future regulation and discuss the world of information exchange in an agenda that is packed with informative hot topics, both local and international, whilst providing delegates with the tools to navigate through these challenging environments.
