Survey charts rise in average earnings

Average pay for full time employees in the Island has risen to ?620 per week.
Treasury’s annual earnings survey’s revealed the figure rose by 1.3 per cent between June 2012 and June last year.
That’s compared to a 2.2 per cent hike in the UK.
It’s also emerged full-time employees worked an average of 38.9 hours per week during that period.
