Successful 1st event of the year for Junior Chamber of Commerce

by isleofman.com 30th January 2014

The first event in the Junior Chamber of Commerce’s calendar was kicked off with a presentation from Ramsey Crookall. The presentation evening provided an opportunity for professionals to learn about investment markets.

Peter Robertson, senior investment manager at Ramsey Crookall presented to the local business community by investigating the impact of QE on the economic recovery and main asset classes. He also provided views on some other themes that might impact on investment markets in 2014.

“I’d like to thank the JCC committee for inviting me to present to its members and non-members,” said Peter. “I hope my presentation gave some insight in to the wide range of issues and themes that might impact the investment markets in the coming year and that it was an enjoyable evening for everyone who attended.’’

“Peter’s presentation was very interesting,” said Owen Cutajar, chairman of the JCC. “I felt it gave professionals a really good insight into Investment Markets – a topic not often discussed at smaller events. It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Ramsey Crookall and I’d like to say a big thank you to them for their support. Our next event is the Budget Breakfast; please get in touch if you’d like to find out more.”
