by isleofman.com 27th January 2014

Island-based fiduciary and fund specialist Abacus has announced a restructure of its businesses in the Isle of Man and Malta.
Abacus Financial Services Group has emerged from what's described as a management consolidation exercise.
It includes Abacus Financial Services Limited in the Isle of Man and the firm's two entities in Malta.
Former managing director of AFSL and one of the Maltese arms Paul Kneen will head the new group as Chief Executive Officer while Martin Heaney has been promoted to the role of MD of the limited company.
Mr Kneen says the new structure aims to advance the growth of business across the board, consolidating group resources.
