First eClub of 2014 Announced

by isleofman.com 17th January 2014

Standard Bank is to open the first Isle of Man eClub of 2014, which will be held on Thursday 23rd January at Bar George. The ever popular social event will take place in the run up to this year’s ICE Totally Gaming expo in London this February, and offers the Island’s eGaming fraternity the chance to get together in a relaxed environment and enjoy South African wines and beer, as well as live music from the Chris Winchester Band. Bar George nibbles are kindly provided courtesy of Continent 8.

Standard Bank is Africa’s largest bank by assets and earnings and it has had a presence on the Isle of Man for over 20 years. Its Corporate & Business Banking team has successful relationships with a number of IOM based eGaming companies and they have developed a suite of banking and transaction services which meet the needs of the industry.

The eClub is a social meeting place for anyone involved in eGaming on the Isle of Man or those with an interest in the sector.  The initiative was started by KPMG and Continent 8 Technologies to bring the growing number of people working in the sector together in one place and start building lasting relationships.  As well as providing a social venue, the eClub party also gives colleagues and friends the opportunity to chat informally about ideas and issues within eGaming on the Island.

This month’s eClub party opens from 5:30pm onwards on Thursday 23rd January at Bar George.
