Bogus website warning

by isleofman.com 13th January 2014
The Financial Supervision Commission says a private equity company, which claims to be based in the Isle of Man, isn’t.

Winston & Churchill Private Equity claims to be based at 37 Athol Street in Douglas, but the FSC says no such company is registered there or anywhere else on the Island.

The FSC says its website is a copy of a different genuine company’s site.

As such, the commission says it’s likely to be an attempt at getting people’s details for identity fraud and people should have no dealings with the company.
