Reassurance for Britannia customers

by isleofman.com 13th January 2014
Customers at Britannia International are being reassured ahead of the bank’s closure in the Island.

On Friday, its owners, the Co-operative Bank, announced the Isle of Man operation will shut later this year with the loss of 31 jobs.

Management say customers will be contacted directly over the next few weeks and offered full support throughout the gradual wind down of the business.

They say it’s part of a strategy to simplify its business.

Branches in Ramsey, Douglas and Port Erin will remain open until the middle of the year.
