Deal offers rising fortunes for independent bakery

by isleofman.com 11th December 2013

Manx supermarket chain Shoprite has struck an agreement with independent local bakery Noa Bakehouse to stock its fresh bread range.
Noa's hand made bread products appeared in Shoprite's main Little Switzerland store at the start of the month.
It represents a big step forward for the until now, single outlet bakery, described by Shoprite's senior buyer John Speakman as 'an oustanding example of a local producer who has developed a premium quality offering'.
Noa Bakehouse founder Miles Pettit saluted Shoprite as a 'great partner' and in helping them list in the flagship store, 'a great supporter of local producers'.
