Destination Jersey for former Manx aviation champion

by isleofman.com 11th December 2013
A former director of civil aviation on the Island is to advise Jersey as it sets up a new aircraft register.

Brian Johnson, Appleby Aviation’s director of operations, will offer advice as the register launches next summer.

The organisation will be a direct competitor with the Isle of Man register – which recently celebrated registering its 650th aircraft.

Jersey’s economic development minister Alan Maclean says the Channel Island is launching its own register after failing to agree on how to run one jointly with Guernsey.
