Italian TT fans prepared to leave their bikes behind can fly direct to the Island for next year's races.

Mann Link Travel and Richmond Travel have signed an exclusive deal with Italian tour operator Charme and Adventure, for a direct flight between Milan and the Isle of Man at the height of TT fortnight.

The charter will fly direct from Bergamo, a city 25 miles north-east of Milan, on 30 May 2014, bringing motorsport fans for a five-night stay.

The flight will originate at Ronaldsway and operators expect many Island residents will take a 'TT escape' holiday in northern Italy.
