Simcocks, one of the leading law practices on the Isle of Man, has appointed Amy Coole to its board of directors.

Amy works in the corporate/commercial and private client departments primarily dealing with trust law, banking and finance transactions and general corporate matters.

Researchers from the independent Legal 500 recommend Amy for her expertise in trust law and described her as “extremely reliable and technically sound” as well as “delivering work to a high standard and at short notice”. Researchers from Chambers UK have reported that Amy is a prominent name in trust law on the Island and clients have said "her drafting is accurate and thorough; she is a reliable source of information who provides us with concise and clear advice”. Another client said “she is invaluable and never lets us down” whilst another commented “she is our go-to person.”

Simcocks Chief Executive, Phil Games, said: “We are delighted to welcome Amy to the board of Simcocks, her reputation and track record is outstanding. She is extremely organised and her ability to drive things forward means she gets results.

“Amy has been proactive in supporting Simcocks’ trainee lawyers and helping them develop their careers.”

Amy sits on the board of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Isle of Man) Limited, a leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues, and is a committee member of its Education Sub Committee. She is also a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public.

Amy said: “I am pleased to be joining the Board of such an established and well respected company. As well as offering a premier service Simcocks has a commitment to building strong relationships with its clients and I look forward to helping develop these connections further.”
