Prizewinners recognised at ICSA Annual Dinner

ICSA Isle of Man’s 2013 prizewinners were recognised at the recent capacity-audience dinner, sponsored by RBS International, with Pre-Dinner Drinks Reception supported by Appleby and held at the Mount Murray Hotel & Country Club, Santon at the end of September.

ICSA Chief Executive Simon Osborne and President David Venus were among the guests and the evening’s compere, Ron Berry, introduced the after-dinner guest speaker, Germaine Greer.

Bill Shimmins, Island Director, RBS International: ‘We were delighted to sponsor the 2013 ICSA dinner, a calendar highlight for Chartered Secretaries in the Island and a fine demonstration of our broader support of the Island and its professions.’

?2,000 raised for charity

Gillian Prestwich, ICSA IOM Chairman, ‘We were encouraged to receive vital support from RBS International for the Dinner and Appleby for the pre-Dinner Drinks Reception and were once again grateful to 3FM’s Ron Berry for compering the evening. We are also indebted to everyone who supported the evening’s charity raffle – raising ?2,000 for the new dedicated breast care unit at Noble’s Hospital.

‘The Annual Dinner is a fitting opportunity to recognise the successes of the ICSA students and our thanks also go to the individual prize sponsors.’
