21 Years of Success for Corlett Bolton & Co

by isleofman.com 26th November 2013

Legal firm, Corlett Bolton & Co, has celebrated 21 years of success, promoted by diversification and innovation.

At a gathering of clients and friends to mark the anniversary, and five years since opening an office in Peel, Director, Sally Bolton thanked clients for their continued support and staff for their hard work, referring to changes to the way they do business and new markets.

Sally said: “Our birthday marks an important landmark for Corlett Bolton & Co. The current economic climate presents a challenge for all even in the Isle of Man. We’ve embraced new opportunities and diversified our business into new areas to encourage growth both in the type of service we offer and how we offer it. We remain extremely focused on our core business; offering high quality legal advice and services to the community”.

Held at Douglas’ Ticket Hall, guests included co-founder, John Corlett, former partner, Clare Faulds, longstanding clients, business associates and friends.

In 2000 Corlett Bolton moved to the current head office in Finch Road, from Athol Street, and in 2008 opened their office in Michael Street, Peel. Keen on supporting the local population, they have been a regular fixture at the Royal Manx Show, offering on-the-spot legal advice. An impressive track record as leading advocates, their comprehensive range of services and commitment to the Island give them pride in their achievement.

Earlier this year Corlett Bolton launched their Pay as You Go legal advice scheme, an Island first, to help clients control litigation costs whilst still benefitting from high quality advice from advocates with a wealth of experience.

Corporate services can be provided through their Corporate Service Provider “CBAS” and recent developments include the ‘Invention Box’ designed for the purposes of Intellectual Property whereby clients can build up their assets in a tax efficient structure.

Sally added “Although this event gave us opportunity to reflect on the last 21 years, more importantly, it was a great occasion to focus on our future. We are not resting on past successes; the many services that we offer, to both private and corporate clients, from the Island and overseas, look to be spelling a bright future, and hopefully many more anniversaries to come!”
