Setting the standard

by isleofman.com 26th November 2013

Two Island companies have been recognised for impressive standards.

Strand Facilities Services and Storall, part of the Strand Group, have renewed their ISO quality standards for a sixth year.

It recognises a company’s confidentiality, integrity and safeguarding of client information.

Strand Facilities Services remains the only Island company in its sector to have achieved the standard.

John Hellowell, Strand Group’s chairman said: ‘These standards are important in all aspects of our business particularly in facilities management where we are key holders for over 200 companies, including several banks.

‘They are also essential for the document scanning, storage and destruction work carried out by group company, Storall.

‘This ensures we focus on our customers’ requirements so that we can better meet their needs’, added Mr Hellowell.

Strand Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

It has grown from two people to being one of the Island’s biggest privately owned employers. It currently has a staff of 130.
