Full house for Thunderstruck II fans

by isleofman.com 6th November 2013

Today marks the launch of Thunderstruck II on HTML5, a milestone for Microgaming as the legendary slot is now available across all platforms.

Originally launched in 2010 on the casino platform through download and Flash, the game’s following has grown over the years as its reach has extended through Quickfire, land-based platform BetStone and most recently the multi-player platform. Thunderstruck II launched on mobile with Android compatibility in February this year and has now been developed in HTML5 ensuring the game is at players disposal no matter the device they are playing on.

Strengthening its network of accessibility is a testament to the slot’s popularity as gamers continue to immerse themselves in the mythical world of Asgard, realised by sharp graphics, incredible animations and memorable characters. The slot, sequel to Thunderstruck released in 2003, is a five reel, 243 ways to win game with a host of opportunities including wilds, expanding wilds, scatters, free spin bonuses and multipliers. The slot also includes the Paytable Achievements feature where players can keep track of their winnings and once the win ranges have been completed their paytable turns gold.

Neill Whyte, Head of Product Channels, Microgaming, explains: “Thunderstruck II is one of our most successful games and we are delighted that players can experience the world-renowned slot on any platform and desired choice of device. We recognise the importance of developing games with cross-platform capability; our achievement with Thunderstruck II signifies the start of things to come.”
