ILS Fiduciaries has returned from one of eGaming’s largest global events, the 12th European iGaming Congress and Expo (EIG), having successfully promoted the Island and the company’s extensive portfolio of eGaming services.
Group Business Development Manager Richard MacNee said: “Our team has just returned after a highly successful trip to EIG. ILS signed up at least one established operator relocating to the Island and shook hands on numerous other deals, including some consultancy work.
“The interesting thing about EIG compared to other exhibitions, such as ICE Totally Gaming held annually in London, is that it is a much smaller event in terms of exhibitors, floor space and footfall, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The event is not free to attend and as such the attendees are prequalified as serious about developing their businesses, especially relevant for the Isle of Man’s representatives who invest significant amounts of time and money developing leads, both on and off stand.”
“Some of the suppliers usually committing to large, extravagant stands had cut back noticeably this year, but we recognise this is a sign of the times. eGaming is an incredibly competitive market, especially with such fantastic bonuses offered to players, but also because of the ever increasing capital resource required to meet increasing regulatory obligations, none less than the availing spider web of insular markets being created in Europe.”
“The industry has seen some consolidation take place this year and the feeling is this will continue in 2014. M&A activity will present its own opportunities for the Island and ILS’s multi-jurisdictional service will be best positioned to offer clients turnkey corporate and licensing solutions across their entire businesses.”
