Abacus launches new QROPS plan

Ficuciary Services Provider Abacus has launched a new QROPS - or Qualified Recognised Overseas Pension Scheme - product.
The Falcon Plan is a joint initiative between Abacus, based in the Isle of Man and Malta and financial services company Carey Group in Guernsey.
It's received approval in Malta and has been approved by HM Revenues and Customs in the UK.
The scheme is principally available to individuals who have left the UK permanently, those in the process of leaving the UK permanently and Maltese residents.
Chief Executive of Abacus Corporate Services, Garry Crossan, says the Falcon Plan is the first of many retirement solutions they are looking to offer expats.
