Cotton Traders for capital

by isleofman.com 3rd October 2013
Woolies may have gone - but we may soon have Cotton in the capital.
It's understood well-known clothing store Cotton Traders is to open a shop in Douglas in the not too-distant future.
The clothing company, which specialists in rugby-style shirts and leisurewear, is based in Greater Manchester and has over 100 stores nationwide.
The name doesn't come from the clothing material but refers to one of the founders, former England national rugby union team Captain Fran Cotton, who started the business in 1987 with Steve Smith, also a former rugby captain.
Manx Radio believes the store will be opposite Wilkins the Jewellers in Strand Street.
