Fundraising success for local tri-athlete

by isleofman.com 27th September 2013

Local IT provider TechCentre and Fiduciary Service Provider, Jeffcote Donnison (Overseas) have sponsored Mark Cooper ?500 each for completing the Microgaming IOM Triathlon, in which Mark posted a very respectable time of 2 hours and 49 minutes. Mark took part in the triathlon to raise money and awareness for Remember Me, a relatively new Manx charity that grants wishes for families on the Isle of Man, where the child/children of the family has a sick or terminally ill parent.

So far Mark has managed to raise over ?9500 and Managing Director of TechCentre, David Keating commented “What Mark has achieved is fantastic and in doing so he has raised a tremendous amount of money. I speak for both TechCentre and Jeffcote Donnison when saying that we were only too happy to support such a worthy cause.” Mark would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has supported him and donated so generously. To find out more about Remember Me, visit their Facebook page Remember Me Isle of Man or www.wishuponadream.co.uk.
