Appleby Isle of Man has maintained its position as the top ranked law firm on the Island according to the leading independent legal directory, the Legal 500.

In the latest results, published on Wednesday 25 September, Appleby received tier one rankings in seven categories including; banking & finance, commercial, insurance & pensions, investment funds & capital markets, dispute resolution, employment and private client & trusts, with sources describing the team as the “go-to firm on the island, both for its local network and international presence in all the major offshore jurisdictions”. Nine Appleby lawyers were also recognised as leading individuals, including eight of the firm’s partners.

Sean Dowling, Managing Partner of Appleby (Isle of Man) LLC commented: “I would like to congratulate the team, once again, on this recognition which is testament to the high standards of service our lawyers work to.”

He continued, “The fact that these rankings are entirely independent and based on the feedback of our peers and clients make them all the more significant and we are privileged to be recognised among the industry’s leading legal practitioners.”

The Legal 500 series of guides reviews the strengths and strategies of law firms in over 90 countries, providing research and law firm rankings to enable clients to identify the best firm for the job. Recommendations are based on client and peer testimonials and feedback alone, carried out by a team of independent researchers. For further information please visit www.legal500.com.
